Solid Waste Authority of Central Ohio RFP to Provide Temporary General Laborer Services

SWACO is seeking qualified Proposers who can provide general laborers on short notice for litter pick up and other general services that are temporary and on an as-needed basis at the Franklin County Sanitary Landfill, Jackson Pike Transfer Station, and the Morse Road Eco-Station.

Proposals are due no later than 1:30 p.m. (EST), Friday, April 10, 2020.

SBA To Provide Small Businesses Impacted by Coronavirus (COVID-19) Up to $2 Million in Disaster Assistance Loans

The SBA will work directly with state Governors to provide targeted, low-interest loans to small businesses and non-profits that have been severely impacted by the Coronavirus (COVID-19). The SBA’s Economic Injury Disaster Loan program provides small businesses with working capital loans of up to $2 million that can provide vital economic support to small businesses to help overcome the temporary loss of revenue they are experiencing.

CVS Health & Roger Williams University 6th Annual Executive Learning Series – Application released April 1st

The CVS Health Supplier Diversity Team is kicking off their 6th Annual Executive Learning Series for Diverse Suppliers in partnership with Roger Williams University College. This year’s program will begin on June 11th, 2020, and as in previous years, will consist of a combination of in-person classes, executive coaching, and online learning.

The application for diverse suppliers will be released on Wednesday, April 1st and will close on Friday, April 24th.  Selected participants will be notified during the week of May 18th.

Louisville/Jefferson County Metropolitan Sewer District Invitation to Bid: Temporary Personnel Services

The Supplier Diversity department of the Louisville and Jefferson County Metropolitan Sewer District (MSD) is reaching out to MBEs and WBEs to inform you that a RFP has been posted for Temporary Personnel Services (#20-0317).

Specifications (see bid notification for complete list of specifications):

  • Scope of Work –   MSD is requesting proposals from qualified firms to furnish temporary personnel for laborers, scientists (lab technicians), administrative staff and other positions as needed.
  • Pre-Award Contact:  Except as may otherwise be provided under Special Provisions, prospective bidders shall have contact with MSD only through Teresa Burton, Senior Buyer, at (502) 540-6325, via email teresa.burton@louisvillemsd.org.
  • Submittal of Questions:  If any person contemplating the submission of a Proposal for the work is in doubt of the true meaning of any part of the Contract Document, a written request for an interpretation shall be submitted to Teresa Burton at the Louisville and Jefferson County Metropolitan Sewer District, 700 W. Liberty Street, Louisville, KY  40203 or by email at teresa.burton@louisvillemsd.org ,  no later than 11:00 a.m. local time on Tuesday, March 10, 2020.  Bidders are not to call the Purchasing Department for inquiriesQuestions received after the submission deadline will not be answered.  Questions will be answered by Addenda only.  The person making the request will be responsible for its prompt delivery.
