Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority RFP Opportunity for HVAC Maintenance Contract

SORTA currently has a request for proposals opportunity available for an HVAC Maintenance Contract. This will be a three-year contract (with two one-year option periods) with an expected start date of December 1, 2020. The contract work may also include some repair work and emergency work as needed for multiple Metro properties.  The final bid submission for this solicitation is October 9th, 2020 at 2:00 PM.  Full details of the Request for Proposals, including the detailed scope and any addenda can be found at WWW.PUBLICPURCHASE.COM.

Please share with any interested parties.  This would be an ideal contract for a small or disadvantaged business.  If a business has questions about the procurement process, I will gladly assist them.  I cannot provide detailed information about the project that would create an unfair advantage, but I can assist with general procurement questions.  I highly encourage any interested vendor to request records on previous maintenance contracts to get a general idea of how to prepare a proposal.  If you have any questions, please contact Tara Walker, DBE Administrator at TWalker@go-metro.com or Kelly Pierson at kpierson@go-metro.com.

June 23 at 6:30 pm – Reduce Food Waste at Home

With nearly 1 million pounds of food waste being landfilled each day in Central Ohio, it is more important than ever that we reduce food waste in our community. When we waste food, we also waste environmental resources, money, time, and the opportunity to provide meals for hungry neighbors. But each of us can help reduce food waste at home by cooking with a plan, proper food storage, using up leftovers, and more. On Tuesday, June 23 at 6:30 pm, join the SWACO team and local chef L. Fernando Mojica for a free webinar to learn tips and tricks from experts as well as to ask questions about food waste.
