Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA) Focused Service Announcement – Service Changes starting Thursday, March 19th

Good afternoon Community Partners,

COTA’s focused service continues with adjustments to several lines beginning Thursday, March 19.

Customers can expect the following:

  • Temporary suspension of Night Owl and AirConnect.
  • All Rush Hour express lines adjusted to provide at least one morning trip and one evening trip. These are lines 13, 41, 42, 43, 44, 45, 46, 51, 52, 61, 71, 72, 73, 74.
  • COTA is also running regular or additional service in areas where local students travel to school to get free meals. All children receiving meals can board COTA at no fare. See attached.

These adjustments will allow COTA to move transit vehicles to other areas and help passengers with social distancing practices recommended by local, state and federal health professionals. Ridership is already down significantly due to social distancing and remote work, as well as other concerns.

We thank you for your support and patience. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.

Thank you,
