Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Recruiting For Next Cohort at Tri-C – Applications Due Oct. 20

Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses (10KSB) is a $500 million investment to help entrepreneurs create jobs and economic opportunity by providing them with greater access to education, financial capital, and business support services.

The program is available across the United States through a network of more than 100 academic and community partners.

There are 700 alumni of 10KSB in Northeast Ohio. This is a strong network of small business owners just like you.  Goldman Sachs 10KSB at Cuyahoga Community College is looking for companies that have:

  • Been in existence for 2 or more years
  • At least $75,000 in revenue
  • Two or more full-time employees, or the equivalent, including the owner

Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Recruiting For Next Cohort at Cincinnati State – Applications Due Oct. 23

Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses (10KSB) is a $500 million investment to help entrepreneurs create jobs and economic opportunity by providing them with greater access to education, financial capital, and business support services.

The program is available across the United States through a network of more than 100 academic and community partners.

Cincinnati State was chosen to deliver 10KSB in Southwestern Ohio and is currently accepting applicants to fill Cohort Two of their program. Those accepted into the program will be offered a FULL SCHOLARSHIP to participate. Goldman Sachs 10KSB Cincinnati State is seeking businesses that:

  • Have been in operation for at least a year
  • Have 2-3 employees, and
  • Have at least $75,000 in revenue

The second cohort is scheduled to begin Thursday, February 4, 2021, and the application period ends Oct. 23. The 10KSB@Cincinnati State curriculum focuses on developing skills that can apply immediately to address the issues most critical to growing businesses.

Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Committing $20 million For Loans To Small Businesses And Nonprofits In Ohio

Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses is committing $20 million for loans to small businesses and nonprofits in Ohio through a partnership with Community Reinvestment Fund, USA (CRF), the largest non-profit, non-bank SBA 7(a) lender in the country.

Loans will be made to small businesses and nonprofits pursuant to the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) under the CARES Act. This builds on existing investments by Goldman Sachs that support small businesses through the 10,000 Small Businesses initiative.

This program provides urgent cash flow assistances to small businesses and nonprofits that have been negatively impacted by COVID-19. These loans can be partially or wholly forgiven for businesses that maintain or rehire their workforce and can be used for:

  • Payroll costs;
  • Interest on mortgages;
  • Rent; and,
  • Utilities.

No collateral or personal guarantees are required. Neither the government, nor lenders, will charge small businesses any fees.
