Solid Waste Authority of Central Ohio Posts Invitation To Bid As Part Of Joint Bid Process for Recycling Services

An Invitation to Bid (ITB) has been posted as part of a Joint Bid Process for the purpose of obtaining bids for the provision of Recycling Services for the 2021 Consortiums I and III. 

Sealed electronic Bids for Recycling Services will be accepted by Participating Communities until 1:30 p.m., March 25, 2021.

Avondale Development Corporation and Hale Avenue Townhomes Invitation To Bid on Cincinnati Townhomes Project


  • 24 newly constructed townhome style homes located at the corner of Hale & Hallwood Avenues in Avondale.
  • The site which consists of 516 Hale Ave, 518 Hale Ave, 3415 Hallwood, & 3417 Hallwood Ave is approximately 1.5 acres and will be developed in no less than 3 phases.
  • The project will ultimately result in three newly constructed 3-story residential townhome buildings that consist of 2 and 3-bedroom units.
  • Phase I of Hale Avenue Townhomes will consist of 7 new townhomes with two 3-bedroom units at 1,395 sf and five 2-bedroom units at approximately 1,250 sf each.
  • ADC is leading this development with an affordable product and all seven units in the initial phase will be sold to families/households that earn no more than 115% of the area median income (AMI) and will be built to the highest of standards. The Uptown Consortium is serving as ADC’s development partner in this project primarily in an advisory capacity.

Shook Construction Co. Seeking Participation on Bid For Construction Project in Northeast Ohio

Shook Construction Co. is bidding as a Prime Contractor to the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District (NEORSD) on Westerly Tunnel Dewatering Pump Station project (WTDPS) in Cleveland, OH.  The work generally consists of the construction of the Westerly Tunnel Dewatering Pump Station, and a 36 MGD submersible pump station constructed in the Westerly Storage Tunnel shaft located adjacent to the intersection of Crescent Avenue and West 53rd Street. The project includes electrical, instrumentation & control, HVAC and mechanical work at the WST-2 Site located between the east end of Tillman Ave and the Shoreway off-ramp to West 45th Street and at the WST-3 Site located on the south side of University Road east of its intersection with Scranton Road. It also includes the physical and control interface with the NEORSD Westerly Wastewater Treatment Center.  Project is tax exempt and Davis Bacon prevailing wage rates apply.

This project bids on May 28, 2020 at 1:00 PM, but in order to analyze all quotes and assemble our bid submittal, we are requesting quotes by 10:00AM.
